GOT YOUR EYE (2023-)
I took time to rejuvenate my connection to photography and myself during a stressful period in my life, and I experimented with a macro lens. I started to take note of my surroundings, even focusing on the different parts of my body. I combined a photograph of my eye and the cover of one of my favorite albums from a vinyl record to make an abstract edit. I continued this idea with the eyes of people close in my life; I used my intuition and trusted the process of experimentation and myself. This ongoing series explores the connections I have with the ones I love, learning to trust my intuition, and letting myself freely create something beautiful. Each photograph is a glimpse into these people’s personalities and how I view them as loved ones.
