Sometimes time is the only solution. I am someone who thinks too far into the future and dwells on the past. When I was forced to recognize and accept the passing of time due to a breakup and the passing of my grandfather, I further connected sand and time. I used the symbolic meaning to express the variety of emotions experienced throughout a night. During the night your emotions are heightened, every emotion you have been holding back throughout the day unleashes. As time passes and the morning arrives, it feels like those emotions never existed and the process repeats. From time to time, the best thing we can do to recover is to say it’ll take time.
